Project Manager eMobility

What will be your role?

In order to continue the growth of E2 Drives, we are looking for a (m/f): Project Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager with a technical background directly reporting to the CEO. You will be in charge of managing the various electric bike motor development projects.

Your role will be to coordinate all projects related to our technical development teams (Mecanical, hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Test) and to monitor the progress against intermediate and final development targets.

You will also be responsible for key stakeholders management, working directly with our partner Decathlon.

Your main responsibilities as a Project Manager

Resolving project issues and strategic issues with senior stakeholders to keep the projects on track

Develop complete project plans and associated communications documents, distribute them among a team and to align target date and criteria for release

Conduct regular discipline project meetings to review progress and identify potential obstacles to completion

Draft and submit budget plans, recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary

Perform risk management to minimize project risks. Identify and manage project

dependencies and critical paths.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting

as a key contact for project stakeholders

Contribute to processes improvement and efficiency.

What will make you successful?

A Master’s degree in electromechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical or industrial engineering.

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive or similar mass-market industry

You possess a technical background and have manage to have a system’s overview

Very good communication skills, analytical, problem solving skills, rigorous, autonomous and

results oriented.

Good knowledge of project methodology; a certification would be a plus

Being flexible and ready to travel

Fluent in French and in English.

E2 Drives mission is to revolutionize the way people are commuting, thanks to its disruptive eBike propulsion system. E2 Drives recently concluded a partnership with Decathlon and plans to become a ebike motor leader in the ten coming years.

E2 Drives is preparing the market launch of its first generation of motors and starts working on a second generation of motors to enlarge the eBike motor offer. The tech company is based in Wavre (a nice place in the South-East of Brussels) and can count on a team of 20 (and growing!) young, dynamic and smart professionals.
